Third Time's a Charm!

From your friends in Serapis: We are pleased to announce the 3rd annual New Year’s Eve at the Foundry Art Centre with Serapis and Friends.
We have a lot to celebrate regarding 2013 and we hope you can join us once again at the Foundry Art Centre.

Together with our friends at Quintessential - we have made arrangements to increase the number of bars and pick up your first beer or well drink this year in appreciation for your patience last year. We feel we have this worked out. Should be “just right” this year!

We will again feature Brian Casserly and will soon announce our other guests. Serapis would like to invite you to join us and be a part of the fun. Plan ahead & make it part of your homecoming trip to Saint Charles if you live out of town.

Once again, we are keeping the ticket prices at $25.00. We’re doing everything we can to keep this affordable, and a nice event. Remember - you can bring a snack to share with your friends, but we cannot allow alcoholic beverages to be brought into the Foundry Art Centre. Quintessential will be providing the bar.

Get friends together and reserve a table - or grab your sweetheart and make it a date. Whatever you do, don’t miss your chance to enjoy New Year’s Eve at a beautiful location with your friends, Serapis!

Once again, returning with Serapis for New Year’s Eve is Brian Casserly. Besides being a world class trumpet and trombone player, Brian is a wonderful entertainer and good friend. We are glad to have him back for another year. Right now Brian is on a 12 day Jazz Cruise to the Sea of Cortez with Cornet Chop Suey. Everybody make sure to ask him about it when he gets back.

And we are very pleased to announce Dave Cheli will be joining us on tenor sax this year. Dave is one of the most talented players in St. Louis. Together with his sons and other jazz aficionados he has an avant-garde group called “Tribal Chicken”. This guy is amazing. We did a gig with him one time before and Brian has been asking about him ever since. Can’t wait to get them together again on stage. It will make for a wonderful night of music. Hope to see you there.
